This three day training program prepares students to be instructors in National Safety Council First Aid and CPR.  Completion of this course allows you the flexibility to conduct training at your own convenience.  Students receive the National Safety Council Instructor Certification Packet, Certificate of Completion, and Instructor Credential - valid for one year.

Requirements for participation:

1. Must send copy of current First Aid and CPR basic skills certification with registration.
2. Successfully complete three day IDC that includes testing and performance evaluations.
3. Pass a pre-test

Because the FA/CPR courses are nationally standardized, any organization wishing to conduct training must be approved and registered with the National Safety Council.  Training materials must be purchased to conduct training as a sub-agency of the Safety and Health Council of NC.   A textbook, including certificates, must be purchased for each student.  A valid sub-agency agreement must be submitted to complete material purchases.   *Certificates are not available without books.
