Since 1989 our Safe Driving Program has provided drivers with potential reductions on a traffic violation in exchange for completing the 4-hour National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course.

National Safety Council's defensive driving classes are also available on the campuses of 41 community colleges across North Carolina.
It is your responsibility to determine what options you might have for a traffic ticket received in a state outside of North Carolina. We offer National Safety Council's 4 Hour or 8 Hour courses at the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina in our Charlotte and Raleigh offices.
