What do I need to bring to class?

Driver’s license or photo ID, Payment (credit card, debit card, or money order) - If you are attending the Alive at 25 Class or the Young Adult 8-Hour class, you will also need to bring your traffic citation

NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED

How much does the course cost?

 If it is a 4 hour class the cost is $60.00 and if it is an 8 hour class the fee is $100.00 - Payment is made the day of the class upon arrival.

Do I complete the class at one time?

Yes, all classes must be completed in one four hour or one eight hour time period.

Will taking the class prevent points on my license and an insurance increase?

As a general rule, the class will be beneficial to you in point reduction and insurance rates.  However, the decisions on points and insurance are up to the court and your insurance company.

Does the class include any “behind the wheel” instruction?

No, all defensive driving courses are classroom presentations with interactive discussion, lecture, questions and answers, and a variety of audio-visuals to enhance learning.

Do I have to pass a test at the end of class?

Our courses are built upon the active involvement in the class by each and every student.  Provided all students participate, there are no passing or failing grades associated with our courses.

When do I receive my Certificate?

After successfully completing the class, you will receive your certificate from the instructor.

Can I take the class online?

No, online courses will not be accepted.
