Advanced MESH Courses

The advanced MESH Certificate provides advanced topics for the environmental and safety professional. The two, week-long courses are designed to provide hands-on approaches and applications to prevent and control hazards and environmental impacts in the workplace. Individuals who have completed their MESH Certificate can now continue their professional development by pursuing the Advanced MESH Certificate. Attend 2 weeks of advanced environmental and safety training offered by Safety and Health Council of North Carolina, North Carolina Department of Labor, and North Carolina State University-Industrial Extension Service to be eligible for this advanced certificate.

The week of advanced environmental topics include SARA 311 & 313, disaster preparedness, environmental performance goals, energy efficient options, and preferable purchasing. The 2 weeks of training do not have to be taken in sequential order; however, the student must successfully complete both weeks before being awarded the Advanced MESH Certificate.
