This session will provide life skills and recommendations for dealing with workplace situations that may and could lead to violence. Information will be provided on how to deal with subject(s) ranging from verbal abusers up to gun violence in the workplace. The session will also give the student recommendation on how to avoid unsafe situations and how to deescalate an unsafe situation they could encounter. Recommendation on procedures, policies and training for employees on how to reduce and/or eliminate workplace violence situations will be presented.
